OUR HISTORY

IS OFF THE RAILS.

In 1854, Corinth, Mississippi, was nicknamed the “Crossroads of the South” because of the two rail lines that intersected at the city's center, making the town one of the most heavily contested transportation hubs throughout the Civil War.

How It All Started...

Green Market is the banner fundraiser for the Crossroads Museum. hosts an eclectic mix of local and regional artists, farmers, gardeners, and craftsmen who sell their hand crafted and home made goods in an open-air, grassroots setting. View the Green Market website for more information or to register as a vendor.

The Crossroads Museum features exhibits from the Civil War to famous athletes from the area. Starting as far back as pre-historic times, there's so much to learn about our rich history.
