A natures lover paradise. Bryson Lake Lodge is located on 140KM of exclusive natural territory 90 minutes from Mansfield. A haven for fishing, hunting, canoeing, four wheeling and enjoying the sunshine. Owners Denis and Laurel LeBrun were only 19 and 21 when they purchased the property in 1993, shortly after graduating from their respective programs in outdoor education. The logging industry had previously destroyed the walleye, but their backgrounds gave them the necessary tools and experience to restore the habitats. They now have more fish than ever. Many of the surrounding lakes are filled with not only walleye but brook trout and northern pike. With the help of friends and family the pair also rebuilt the cottages on the property, starting off with 6 run down buildings to the 15 now available for visitors. After years of hard work, three children a lightening strike that went viral and a global pandemic, the LeBruns were able to turn the lake into the beloved hotspot it is today, witnessing generations of customers each year. In the last decade, they have invested in green infrastructure and programs, installing solar panels on the cottages and updating lighting and battery systems. They plan on continuing this work along with new wellness programs, spa facilities and walking trails in order to expand their offerings for their valued visitors! Distance from : Fort Coulonge : 90 km , Ottawa : 200 km , Montreal : 400 km, Watertown, NY 315 km , Syracuse: 500 km and Detroit: 950 km.
