A veteran from Littleton has been assisting the homeless veterans across our state by raising funds to purchase boots for them.

Ronald Marble had spent close to 7 years with the Army National Guard and had also served two tours of duty while one was in Afghanistan. When Marble completed his service he decide to join the VA. Kathryn, who is Ronald's, commented that Ronald happens to be the only homeless veterans outreach coordinator in the whole state of Colorado.

Annually the VA hosts a stand down event for all the homeless veterans who are in the Denver metro area. The VA offers clothing and other accessories to the homeless veterans. Kathryn noted that this year they did not have sufficient money to purchase the extra boots and all the boots are usually purchased through the Department of Defense. The surplus boots that are needed are usually sizes 7 and 13, this is because the other sizes are usually not available.

In order to deal with both Ronald and Kathryn decided to create a GoFundMe page to assist in raising additional funds to be used to buy 200 boots for the Colorado's homeless veterans. So far the couple’s efforts have been honestly Serving Those Who Serve.
